The Sarit Centre


Opened in 1983, The Sarit Centre bills itself as “Kenya’s first, biggest and busiest shopping mall” and a “city within a city”. The 250,000 square foot (totally built-up area 500,000 sq.ft. on six levels) complex offers a range of shopping (80+ shops), entertainment (cinema), food (12+ eateries), health (club and swimming pool), banking, and exhibition destinations to 20,000+ daily visitors. The large exhibition area is used year-round for events, including fashion shows and trade fairs. The mall is centrally located (off Waiyaki Way) with ample parking available for up to 4,000 cars.
